  5. ACHIEVEMENT OF ENGINEERING INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENTS IN ENGINEERING ,SOME OF WHICH ARE: 1. ARTIFICIAL ISLAND IN DUBAI 2. HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT 3. THE 412 METER TWINTOWER 4. THE ASWAN HIGH DAM 5. THE SEA SHELL SHAPE OF THE OPERA HOUSE IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA 6. THE HOVER DAM ON THE COLORADO TIVER 7. THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING IN NEWYORK 8. THE PANALMA CANAL

  6. ACHIEVEMENTS OF ENGINEERS ELECTRIFICATION AUTOMOBILE AIRPLANES WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION RADIO AND TELEVISION AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION COMPUTERS

  7. BUILDING A RESILIENT FUTURE A RESILIENT FUTURE PROTECTS THE COASTLINES A RESILIENT FUTURE STRENGHTENES FOOD SECURITY AND ENCOURAGES FORWARD PLANNING. SOME INNOVATIONS FOR A RESILIENT BUILT ENVIRONMENT: 1. MACHINE LEARNING 2. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE(AI) 3. CHEAP ENERGY STORAGE 4. LED LIGHT EFFICIENCY 5. ACCESSIBLE SOLAR POWER 6. CARBON CAPTURE AND STORAGE(CCS) 7. POLICY 8. INNOVATIONS 9. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT 10.HUMAN NEEDS

  8. STEPS TO TAKE: ESTABLISH A STRATEGIC WORKFORCE PLANNING FUNCTION ACROSS GOVERNMENT ESTABLISH A NEW STEM EDUCATION STRATEGY MAINTAIN COMMITMENT TO UPLIOFT EDUCATION FUNDING APPRENTICESHIP INVESTING IN RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

  9. Global Innovation Index scores based level of economic development.

  10. Where we ought to be Goods and services markets Digital marketplaces Transport infrastructure and logistics markets Smart Medical and Health Services Drone technology for improving medical logistics Drone technology for optimizing agricultural production Digital job platforms to reduce labour market frictions Agriculture and crop insurance markets Smart Electricity infrastructure Tax collection and public service provision Smart utilities provision.

  11. POSITIVE IMPACT OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING INNOVATIONS SUCH AS: BUILDING A MIND CONTOLLED PROTHESIS FOR THE FUTURE INNOVATING EARTHQUAKE DETECTION SYSTEM INNOVATING PURE SUGARY SWEETNESS WITH NO CALORIES THESE ARE THE WILDEST ENGINEERING INNOVATIONS IN 2020 FOR A RESILIENTWORLD, INNOVATIONS SHOULD BE INVESTED ON : RESILIENCE REGULATIONS RENEWABLES NET ZERO FROM NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE INCENTIVISE UPTAKE OF OFFSITE MANUFACTURING TO DELIVER GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE. DRIVE PRODUCTIVITY FUNDING R&D INCREASING INNOVATION BUDGET

  12. REDEFINING ENGINEERING CULTURE AWAY FROM BUILDING THINGS TO MEETING NEEDS SUSTAINABLY. TECHNOLOGY HAS ACCELERATED THE PROCESS OF CHANGE. TECHNOLOGY HAS: RAISED ECONOMIC GROWTH LOWERED POLUTION ENVIRONMENTALLY ADVANCED FINANCIAL DEVELOPMENT SAVE MONEY PRESERVE NATURAL RESOURCES PREVENT ENVIRONMENTALDAMAGE.

  13. REDEFINING ENGINEERING CULTURE ENGINEERING INNOVATIONS HAVE NO DOUBT HELPED TO BUILD A MORE RESILIENT WORLD AND HELPED TO: BRING ABOUT SMART BUILDING SYSTEMS ROBOTICS TO EASE HARD JOBS CLOUD COMPUTING ENERGY SUSTAINABILITY ACROSS GRID RETROFITING INDUSTRIES TO ADOPT CLEAN AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGIES.

  14. TO MARK THIS YEARS WORLD ENGINEERING DAY MARCH 4TH 2023, LET US MAKE INNOVATION A KEY COMPONENT OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT PROCESS IN ORDER TO BRING BEST VALUES FOR MONEY TO THE PUBLIC. TARGETED SUPPORT SHOULD BE PROVIDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES. THESE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES SHOULD BE COMMERCIALIZED AND ADOPTED TO CREATE JOBS.

  15. ENGINEERS E-ETHICAL N-NEGOTIATORS G-GOOD SOFT SKILLS I-INNOVATIVE N-NATURALLY CURIOUS E-EFFICIENT E-ENTREPRENEURIAL R-RESILIENT S-SOLUTION ORIENTED. ENGINEERS ARE RESILIENT AND READY FOR INNOVATIONS THAT WILL PRODUCE A RESILIENT WORLD.
