The program offers shelters where individuals with specific medical requirements can bring their pets and caregivers to ensure their well-being. Registration is essential, either online or by phone, and must be updated annually. Transportation needs can also be arranged by including the request in the registration. Preparation tips include early registration, packing a go-kit, and having a caregiver or friend available. Contact details for assistance with the application process are provided for convenience.
