  1. 302.4.04 Cryo-assemblies Horizontal Test Weekly status report Guram Chlachidze September 16th, 2019

  2. Cryo-mechanical upgrades Adapter Box fabrication/assembly in progress Fabrication of internal piping & subassemblies Vacuum vessel half-shell fabrication started on Sep. 12th, order was placed in July FB-AB cold-bore was assembled and tested Several fixed-price contracts in preparation for different installation jobs at TS4 FB relief line, FB and cryo-assembly relief devices High-pressure GHe supply line could be done by IB1 technicians Piping materials to be purchased New transfer line supports will be installed at TS4 2

  3. Cryo-mechanical upgrades (2) Lambda plug prototype test Test potting of 3D printed unit was successful 3D printed lambda-plug successfully was Hi-potted up to 5 kV in air Ultem 1000 Lambda plug with the new design in procurement Old design Ultem 1000 Lambda plug machined (VMS) and potted We can have a 3D printed Ultem 1020 Lambda-plug Zero-magnet test in March 2020 Major milestones of TS4 cryo-mechanical upgrades and QPM system development were discussed Test plan was drafted few weeks ago, now we will describe it in more details Off-project activities are on-track to meet zero-magnet test milestone PLC upgrade by Jan-Feb. 2020 Pumping line, etc. before the end of December 2019 3

  4. Other upgrades QPM:AQD design modification for current-dependent threshold is complete First article integration tests should be complete by the end of September Good for the zero-magnet test Production unit will include new AQD with the current-dependent Components of the current limiting resistor boards in procurement (Off-project) Proposal for the CERN HFU modifications under review at CERN We may have to by-pass HFUs during the zero-magnet test CAEN power supply received for TS4 RC magnetic measurement system 4
