2022 - 2023 Agreement Between MSD of Lawrence Township and The Lawrence Education Association
Collective Bargaining Agreement One time Loyalty Stipend $2,000 Teachers returning from the 2021-22 school year and for participating in professional development. Working the last day of the 2021-2022 school year through September 30, 2022. New Money $3,296,926 (Total Compensation Package = 4.75% distributed as follows) All new hires move to the proposed new hire schedule. 4.65% base salary increase to all returning teachers All teachers who have a total of two years of experience, all of which was at MSDLT, will receive an additional $500 base salary increase .25% match if spring ADM is up 75 or more students All requested ECA changes Potential stipend If cash balance is 14M+ on Dec 31st, teachers hired by Nov 1st will receive a $2,000 stipend Cost Approximately $1,866,000 Potential stipend If cash balance is 15M+ on Dec. 31st, teachers hired by Nov 1st will receive an additional $500.00 Cost Approximately $466,500
Collective Bargaining Agreement Master s Increase in accordance IEERB guidelines Documented master s shall receive an increase of 50% of base salary increase for their Master s increase New Hires Choice of 27 or 28 pays Sick Days Pay out from $50.00 a day to $100.00 a day upon retirement Transferred from the Education fund to a Sick Day fund Cost $2,533,801 as of September 26, 2022
Collective Bargaining Agreement of Language Language Ancillary duties from 2021-2022 will continue through 2022-2023 Jumpstart, Tutoring, Class coverage Rehires: Employees that resign effective after the last school day and are rehired before the first day of the next school year, but never sign a contract with another district may recover their accumulated sick days as follows: they receive up to 6 days accumulated sick on the first day of the school year. They will receive the remainder of their accumulated sick dates effective the first payday of the following school year. Ancillary Special Ed Case Coverage All Special Ed. Ancillary pay will be approved by the Director of Exceptional Learners
