2023 IW CONSOLIDATED DEWATER PROJECT UPDATE Douglas Morgan Chief of Locks and Dams MVD-MVR-ODI 16 August 2023
MARSEILLES LOCK Lower miter gate quoin blocks being fitted. Wall armor installed ahead of concrete placement next week. Back fill work on land wall side begins.
DRESDEN ISLAND Bull gear machinery anchors installed ahead of concrete pour . Precast valve section installation on lower end progressing. Upper valve hole concrete removal in progress. Upper sill extension is now complete.
BRANDON ROAD LOCK Upper right gate machinery installed. New beams going in for valve intake screens. Concrete placement for top of new sill.
