SHORECREST LEVELS / TEAMS VARSITY - (All 10-12 graders) *Plays full 10 game season + Playoffs JV - (Practices/Plays with Varsity but will have separate competitions) *JV could have 6-7 competition based on league availability. *Contingent on Program # s Frosh / C-TEAM (Freshman / New Soph s) *Plays full 8-9 game schedule through season

  5. DAILY SCHEDULE DURING SCHOOL *TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE PER CALENDAR * 2:45 3:30 S.W.A.T. Study (Film) Weights Academic Trainer / Injury Prevention 3:45 Pre-Practice on Field 4:00 6:15 Practice Time (Some Days will vary) *C-TEAM FRIDAYS Light workout / Film (3:00 4:15)

  6. VARSITY LETTER POLICY 1. Players must participate in a minimum of 12 different quarters during varsity football games. (Participation in 6 plays during a quarter, either scrimmage or special teams, will constitute a whole quarter of playing time). 2. Players must NOT serve any suspension from team including academic probation, personal or school code of conduct violations, or school/league/ WIAA based removal. 3. Coaches discretion will have final ruling on ANY letter awarded. 4. Seniors who have shown commitment and dedication to the program will be considered for letter award, regardless of playing time standards. **A player must finish the season as a member of the team in good standings. Becoming ineligible, quitting, or being dismissed from the team, nullifies the award of a letter, as well as, any other opportunity for awards, certificates and honors regardless of prior accomplishments. (ie All- League / All-Area or Team awards).

  7. TRANSPORTATION VARSITY Games played OUTSIDE of the Shoreline/Edmonds boundaries will have buses TO and FROM competitions. Games played INSIDE those boundaries will NOT have bus transportation. JV & C-TEAM Games INSIDE the Shoreline/Edmonds boundaries beginning PRIOR to 5:00pm will have a One-Way shuttle drop off. Games INSIDE the Shoreline/Edmonds boundaries beginning AFTER 5:00pm, players must provide their own transportation TO and FROM competition. Games OUTSIDE the Shoreline/Edmonds boundaries will have Round Trip Transportation.

COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE Program Attendance: EVERY practice is mandatory. * Excused Absences email Coach Christensen prior. * Only be in emergencies or illness situations. * Missed practices can result in limited/reduced playing time * Communication is the key when missing but should be minimal! School Attendance *Required to be in 2/3 classes (+HH) daily to be eligible. *3 or MORE Tardies in a week, may result in loss of playing time. *10 Total Tardies = Saturday School or ineligible status per school policy. *Highlander Home = It is a CLASS. Attendance is taken and effects students tardy/absence count.

  9. COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE CONT ACADEMICS: We are STUDENT-ATHLETES * All Students begin season as eligible to practice and play. * First Grade check OCTOBER 9th. * Failing Grade Steps 1. Probation / 2. Suspension / 3. Removal * Students with Failing Grade from Previous Semester (22/23) - Grade check September 25th. - Failing Grade = 3 Week Suspension of game play CODE OF CONDUCT * Consequences range from game suspensions to removal from team based on violation, frequency, and administrative consequences. *Note specifics to parties and to social media.

  10. ATHLETIC TRAINER / INJURIES District currently linked with Children s Hospital for Game Coverage No After School trainer coaches will have those duties. Ice, Taping, Treatment will be available. INJURIES *Bumps, Bruises, Pains and Strains going to happen. *Significant injuries see a doctor. *MUST PROVIDE CLEARANCE NOTE TO RETURN. CONCUSSIONS Minimum 7 day RETURN TO PLAY, after clearance from an MD. Precise, step-by-step, return protocol.

  11. TEAM FUNDRAISING AUGUST 22nd: KICKOFF DAY! Digital Team Promotions Discount App (Entertainment Book / Ms.Fields Cookies / Donations) Players collect 25 contacts done through their Team Store Page There is a donation option in App Social Media is a key way to increase profits GOALS: TEAM Buy-In (Historically less than 40% of players make sales) Each player gets 10 sales or more from their 25 contacts. SC Profit Goal = $12,000 (No need for a Spring Fundraiser!!!)

FEE$ & PERSONAL GEAR School Fees: (Paid by Sept.1st) * ASB - $50 * FALL SPORTS FEE - $200 **Pay online via Shoreline In-Touch systems or to ASB window TEAM GEAR (Optional) Will be done through BSN Team Shop. Link/Store Available from 8/20 8/26. Parents Welcome to purchase as well. Ships directly to home!
