29thEPSO Conference (online) 23rdand 24thof September 2020 Intro to our first online conference As many of you have noticed: This conference is not business as usual ! The English say : If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. Well, this doesn t look like a conference, Covid made us change plans almost weekly so preparations did not feel like a conference. Our speakers experts had to adapt to so many changed plans; also for them it just didn't look like one of those 28 EPSO conferences; However: this will bring us a completely new experience; Hopefully it will be -in a way-BETTER THAN A CONFERENCE ! ! -EPSO European Partnership for Supervisory Organisations in health and social care 2
29thEPSO Conference (online) 23rdand 24thof September 2020 What to Expect today and tomorrow Welcome by Metthew Vella CEO of the Maltese Social Care Standards Authority (our initial conference host); he will speak the welcome words; Then: 5 sessions today; 3 sessions tomorrow morning; Follow- up Task Force Covid-19 meeting tomorrow afternoon; Each session is 1 hour (2 speakers-15 min each, expert reactions-15 min, interactive reactions from the audience-15 min).
