PROPER T-SHIRT ETIQUETTE ERRORS ERRORS Clover leaves are the wrong color or are the color of the shirt. Leaves must be black, white, metallic gold or green COMMON 4-H T-SHIRT CLOVER Clovers are covered up by artwork, club names or other words. Any artwork must appear behind the Clover and completely separate Clovers do not include the federal mark #18 USC 707. Be sure your clovers are large enough on your shirt for the #s to appear clearly. Clovers are stretched, distorted or tilted to fit a certain area, or hand-drawn to create an artistic version of the Clover. Ask your local Extension office for the official logo to provide to your t-shirt artist or vendor.
USE OF THE 4-H NAME 4-H Not a dash. Not a slash. Not a space. Use a number 4 and a capital H, separated by a HYPHEN (-). Don t do this: 4- H Try not to separate the 4 and the H at the end of a line. Don t do this: Our Club. Don t replace the words 4-H with a Clover. It s okay to do this: #4H #thats4H You may use just 4H when using it as a #hashtag.
DONT MISUNDERSTAND US. WE WANT YOU TO USE 4-H CLOVERS EVERYWHERE! Stick a clover on it! We just have to protect the image and use it EXACTLY as it s meant to be used so it will ALWAYS be RECOGNIZED and ALWAYS be OURS.
