ACE Impact Project Most agriculture Centers have good overall results Some Centers have low performances in specific DLIs (CERPP, CERSA, CEFTER, AGRISAN) Reasons for delays are known: complex administrative rules, difficult internal processes, non-release of funds and COVID Agriculture Thematic Meeting Overview Nov 4th2021

  4. ACE Impact Project The results that have been achieved this last year, considering all the challenges created by the pandemic, are remarkable The Centers have been capable of overcoming the difficulties imposed by COVID and reach proposed objectives

  5. ACE Impact Project Agriculture Thematic Meeting All Centers expect to achieve much better results before March 2022 There are still many uncertainties Centers may need more support to achieve the proposed results and are very worried about possible cuts in funding Mid-Term Review Nov 4th2021

  6. ACE Impact Project The MTR should be a pedagogic tool with a focus on improvement not (only) a controlling process associated to sanctions for low performers

ACE Impact Project Room for improvement Understand what is behind the low achievements in specific DLIs Support Centers (and provide more time) to recover from low performance DLIs: short courses, accreditation, internships, innovation and entrepreneurship, Increase knowledge exchange / sharing best practices (Networks!) Identify and recognise exceptional performance (some Centers excel in specific DLIs!) Reallocate funds among DLIs (not only among Centers)
