Meeting Minutes GTW Call 05/12 [Qualcomm] Objective is to ensure spec clarity, readability and applicability while introducing any vertical-only applicable tests for legacy. Not to change the spec for existing legacy tests, applicability. Proposal#1 Proposal#1 Separate tests in new Clause and separate applicability, ensures no changes to existing legacy tests and applicability, also addresses NOT applying test cases efficiently Qualcomm CR - R5-222258, R5-222259 and discussion paper R5-222257r1 [Olivier] For SNPN, it would still be nice to get the full analysis of all applicable tests, currently idle mode part scoped and drafted in CR s above. o [YogeshT] Idle mode test are good representative and remaining analysis might not change much but we can try to complete it next for L2 and RRC. The new PICS introduced in Qualcomm discussion paper is a unique precedence but OK to distinguish between legacy and non-legacy and SNPN only tests. There is agreement for this proposal from Qualcomm, Mediatek, R&S, Keysight, Huawei and Anrtisu o Mediatek has editorial comments on structure of proposed cl 14 CATT and TF160 Since most of the test have minor test environment change, they can be handled in same legacy tests instead of new test cases. However, applicability problem persists i.e for test cases which are not applicable will have to add existing applicability to NOT SNPN o Too many title copy/paste of applicable tests in -1 o Vertical+Vertical not considered, for ex SNPN + Redcap SS vendors [R&S, Keysight] prefers to have separate clause helps with verification, maintenance, and packaging of such tests. Anritsu is neutral on this. [Ram] Can we also explore execution guidelines for verticals? o [Virginie] Best to follow the TTCN based implementation Proposal#2 Proposal#2 Reuse existing test case, define the test environment in TS38.508-1. However, it lacks addressing test case applicability without impacting existing test cases. Proposal#2.1 (new) Proposal#2.1 (new) [Virginie] - Reuse existing test case, define the test environment in TS38.508-1. For applicability, create a new table in TS38.523-2, which will make it clear, using the new PICS, which tests are applicable. [Ram, Mohit] For Maintenance, it would simply be best if we can keep both -1 and -2 separate. UE is provisioned with a list of subscriber data to allow access to SNPN identified by corresponding NR Cell, in each test case.
