Criterion 4.A Issue #1 Program Review Framework and Program Review Policy Resolutions 1 Restructure of Program Review Frameworkand Policies Program review cycle is on a rotating basis, with each program being reviewed no less frequently than every five years. 2021-2022 Old Template (Microsoft Word format) pilot (BS BA Management, Mathematics Programs and Psychology) 2022-2023 Watermark Implementation (Educational Studies, Communication Studies, Marketing, Health Care Management) 2023-2024 In Progress-Revised Template in Watermark Continue adding 4 programs to the cycle until the year 2026-2027 3 2 Thorough Redesign of the Academic Program Review Process structured procedure that involves forming a review committee comprised of program review leads for each program under evaluation and an Academic Affairs lead that will do the following: program review kickoff meeting clearly defining objectives comprehensive discussion on the purpose and goals of the program review develop a timeline incorporating essential milestones and deadlines for every stage of the review

Criterion 4.A Issue #2 Refined Program Review Template and Process Resolutions 3 Faculty Review for Quality Assurance A template was developed that includes institutional data for each program undergoing review at the beginning of the process. The Institutional Research Coordinatorprovidedthe data necessary from 23-24 year to program leads at the commencement of the program review. 1 Continuous Improvement During the second cycle of program reviews, we will incorporate recommendations from faculty, external consultants, and administration. These adjustments will: enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the program review and syllabus template processes foster a more uniform and informed approach across all academic programs 2 External Review for Quality Assurance An external consultant was engaged to assist with the following: refining the review process by streamlining eliminating redundancy ensuring faculty received consistent data from the outset The New Program Review Template has been updated and implemented for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Criterion 4.A Issue #3 Electronic Data and Tracking System for Program Reviews Resolutions 1 Watermark Training for Faculty and Staff 2 Implementation of Watermark HSSU has implemented an electronic data and tracking system, Watermark, which provides electronic access to the Program Review Coordinator to monitor if milestones were met as scheduled and whether all sections are complete.

Criterion 4.A Issue #4 Linkage Between Program Review Data and Budgeting Resolutions 3 1 Creation of Annual Timeline and Process for Completion of University Budget The process begins in December of each year with a notice to the campus community, followed by the convening of the full committee in January. Budget Hearings 4 Budget Proposals Presented for Discussion and Ratification 2 Budget Requests in Alignment with Strategic Plan and Mission Tuition and Fees Student Hearings 5
