Program Committee 56 program committee members and 17 area chairs Area chairs monitored the review process and online discussion Emphasis on a diverse program committee along many dimensions Break down of program committee North America: 34 Europe: 20 Asia: 13 Other: 6 The program committee members wrote ~800 reviews and contributed to often very extensive online discussions
Review Process We introduced a two round review process In the first round each paper received three reviews 88 papers moved on to the second round, with two more reviews Each round resulted in an extensive online discussion Based on the discussion online and at the PC meeting, a set of papers was conditionally accepted 13 were accepted directly; 35 were discussed at the PC meeting Papers only accepted after all requested revisions were approved This process was coordinated by a shepherd 30 of the 186 papers were ultimately accepted (16%)
Best Paper Award The best paper was selected by a committee consisting of five area chairs: Lixin Gao (Chair) Lachlan Andrew Ken Calvert Sonia Fahmy John C.S. Lui The committee collected recommendations from PC members The decision considered many factors including the reviews and the quality of the final version of the paper
