  1. Personal Wellness The emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, social, environmental, and financial well-being of an individual.

  2. Stressors Can Impact on your Wellness!!!

  3. Statistically, about 26% (or 1 in 4 people) in America suffer from a diagnosable mental illness each year. Benefits of personal wellness use: Improves your physical health Reduces stress and anxiety Boosts your self-esteem Protects your mental health. Leads to better relationships Increases productivity Reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, and other illnesses.

  4. Engaging in personal wellness increases happiness!!!

  5. Physical Wellness: Caring for and maintaining the health of your body through nutrition education, healthy diet, exercise and sleep.

  6. Mental Wellness: (Intellectual and Emotional) Intellectual: Caring for and maintaining the health of your mind by learning to expand our knowledge and skills. Emotional: Caring for and maintaining the health of your emotions through learning about your feelings, values and moods and understanding how to properly identify and obtain your unique needs.

  7. Social: Caring for and maintaining the health of your relationships.

  8. Spiritual: Caring for and maintaining the health of your spiritual identity. The state of your spirit being at peace concerning your outward life. Higher Power-A power greater than ourselves Yoga and meditation are rooted in spirituality.

  9. Occupational or Vocational: Caring for and maintaining your sense of fulfillment and belonging through your career, hobbies and lifestyle.

  10. Financial: Caring for and maintaining the health of your finances by making decisions about money that are realistic and responsible.

  11. Environmental: The health of your social and natural environment. It is understanding how different environmental factors can affect your overall well-being.

  12. Wellness Pause/Grounding/Mental Break: Stopping what you are doing and taking a moment to breathe. It is anything that allows you to step back, relax, and recharge your mind. What do you currently do for a wellness pause?
