What are opinion phrases? Opinion phrases or Expressions of opinion are used in formal and informal context of speeches and conversations in order to introduce an opinion about a specific topic or situation.

Expressing Opinion: Agreeing with an opinion Some phrases used to agree with an opinion are: Of course. You re absolutely right. Yes, I agree. I think so too. That s a good point. Exactly So do I. I don t think so either. That s true. Neither do I. I d go along with that. That s just what I was thinking I couldn t agree more. I agree with you entirely
Expressing Opinion: Disagreeing with an opinion Some phrases used to disagree with an opinion are: That s different. I don t agree with you. However On the contrary That s not entirely true. I m sorry to disagree with you but Yes, but don t you think I m not sure about that. That s not the same thing at all. I m afraid I have to disagree. I must take issue with you on that.
