Water Crisis In Jordan Made By: Zaid Zeidan and Laith Hamarneh
Introduction to Water Crisis In 1998 the country of Jordan started experiencing a water crisis, it was caused due to the increasing population, diminished water supply and climate change. Dueto the water crisis researchhas shown.
Effects of the Water Crisis In Jordan Due to the effect of water crisis kids have been limited of doing acts to prevent getting sick such as washing their hands and showering, another effect is that major water sewage systems can fail and risk citizens in Jordan to contract life threatening diseases and this may happen sooner than you think as sewage systems are already leaking water causing pollution in the surfaces of Jordans rivers causing rising levels of nitrate and phosphorus in water supplies
Causes of The Water Crisis Firstly, a large quantity of fresh water is given by aquifers which are being threatened due to over pumping and pollution another reason of the water crisis Is seepage from landfill sites and lastly the incorrect disposal of chemicalscanmakewater bodies unusable.
Consequences of the Water Crisis The social and economic damage that the growing lack of water will target the agriculture and the services sector. Furthermore, kids may not be able to access water which is known to slow down their growth and development. Italso candeplete their storage in their minds forlearning.
Consequences of Water Crisis On The Economy The economic damage the water crisis has on the economy is already affecting the agriculture and service sector which is heavily important to Jordan's economy
Ways to Solve The Water crisis Here are 6 ways to solve water crisis:- 1. Developing water filtration systems 2. Reduce your water usage 3. Protecting wetlands 4. Improving irrigation efficiency 5. Increasing water storage in reservoirs 6. Desalinating seawater
