Blended Courses Combines best features of both classroom and online courses Live discussion with the instructor via conference calls Online course materials Specific schedule to complete the course Interaction with other students via class problems posted on a discussion board Schedule makes completion rates significantly higher than independent study

Program Description 2 week Total Immersion course Focus on Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) Targeted towards mid to senior level managers Held every fall in Maryland (near BWI airport) Operated by the University of Maryland Center for Advanced Transportation Technology (UMD CATT)

Program Objectives Describe the impact of TSM&O on mobility and safety Manage an organization whose primary mission is TSM&O Advocate the creation of an operational focus within their agencies Demonstrate knowledge of the technical tools of TSM&O and the conditions under which they can be effectively applied
