Significant Investment of US$ 137 million made to support STEM, Health and Agriculture education 3. 22 Regional Hubs in 11 countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal & Togo) strengthened to addressing local development challenges 4. Training quality & academic profile improved: 58 programmes obtain international accreditation 5. Graduates adaptability and relevance to labour market enhanced: over 9,000 practical internships undertaken 6. Culture of revenue generation fostered to ensure project sustainability: over US$50 million raised ACE I 2014 - 2020

Disbursement- linked Result (DLR) 2.1 (Short Course Students) Verification Report Status of Achievements Next Steps Submitted results verified and letters issued in record time Total disbursement rate up and now at 92%; Only 3 ACEs yet to max out WACCBIP (84%); CEA-SAMEF (68%) and CEA-MEM (23%). CEA-SAMEF extra results under verification WACCBIP & CEA-MEM to submit results soon Defaulting centres to submit extra results by end February 2020. 2.2 (Masters Students) Results submitted to Technopolis and online survey and telephone calls launched Total disbursement up and now at 91%. ACEGID, ACENTDFB & WACCI yet to max out (35%, 56% and 37% respectively) PhD Disbursements at 98%; ENSEA at 62% as programme was introduced late 2.3 (PhD Students) ENSEA s performance to improve with new student intake in February 2020. 2.4 (Internships) Overall, internships has lowest disbursement rate of 74%. 8 Centres (ACENTDFB, CEA-MITIC, PAMI, WACCBIP, WACCI, CEA-SAMEF, CEA-SMA & CEA-CCBAD) have low disbursement rates of between 17% - 60% Poor performance centres to submit extra results by February 2020 or risk forfeiting payments for internships.

Disbursement-linked Result (DLR) 2.5 (Accreditation) Verification Report Status of Achievements Next Steps Self-evaluation verified for CEA-MEM and disbursement letter issued Total disbursement at 96%; CEA-MEM in progress CEA-MEM international accreditation is currently underway. 2.7 (External Revenue) Results verified for ACEPRD, ACENTDFB, CEA-SAMEF, CEA-CETIC and CERSA, and letters issued. Overall disbursement at 88%. Significant increase for ACEPRD, ACENTDFB & CEA- CETIC. ACEPRD, CEA-SAMEF, CEA-MITIC and CEA-MEM still have challenges Defaulting ACEs hopeful can make up for deficits before project closure. 2.8 (Teaching & Learning) Onsite verification done for CEFTER, RWESCK, CEA-CETIC, CERSA, CEA-SMA & CEA-MEM. Reports approved and letters dispatched Total disbursement rate is at 85%. Six ACEs have 1 milestone pending and 3 centres yet to max out. Construction work and procurement in progress; all milestones to be achieved early March 2020.
