Aging in Place for elder homeowners, we go inside Homeowner must own home and live there, in Aitkin County Small, interior projects to make the home accessible to the elderly: grab bars, opening doorways, etc. Habitat hopes to partner with Aitkin County CARE and the Arrowhead Agency on Aging for these projects. A more complete list will be sought from our board member who specializes in Aging in Place. Hand up not Hand out As with all Habitat programs, we work in partnership with the homeowners, not for the homeowners.
