  1. All-Star Coach Meeting January 4th, 2022

  2. Meeting Goal & Purpose Goal: Ensure all teams understand the format, schedule, and requirements of the all-star program. Purpose: Establish expectations so we may provide a fun program for our players.

  4. AYSO Volunteers Coaches, referees, team parents Must be registered volunteers Safe Haven, Sudden Cardiac arrest, concussion, and level appropriate coach training. Livescan fingerprinting will be required by CA. Regions are using vouchers and some Livescan events are being planned.

Expectations for coaches PIE principle Positive, Instructional, Educational Coach Triangle Coach, Referee, Parents (max two coaches) Sportsmanship Toward players, coaches, and referees Do not engage the referees Coaches are responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their players and spectators.

  8. Format Divisions 10U, 12U, 14U 2 games each Saturday in January, weather permitting Divisions with odd number of teams may only have one game on some weekends Divisions with fewer than 8 teams will play some teams twice. Those teams are chosen randomly.

  9. Schedules and Scoring Matchtrak will be our schedule system Report score password: as22 Scoring and Standings Standings shall be based on the following scoring system: Three (3) points for each Win. One (1) point for each Tie. Zero (0) points for each Loss. For score adjustments related to send off, referee to Section 14 Misconducts. If some games are not played due to rain, the standings will be averaged to determine the final seeding.

  10. Rain and Field Closure If it rains, game updates will be posted in Matchtrak. Do not rely on any mudline! Once a field is closed, it will not reopen. Games will be re-scheduled Sunday of the following week if fields are available

  11. Tie Breaker Procedures Head to Head competition Highest Goal Differential (max of 3 goals/game) Least Goals Scored Against (max of 3 goals/game) Goals Scored For (maximum of 3 goals/game) Coin flip

  12. Paperwork/other items No coach or player ID cards this season. Required if advancing in Area or Section playoffs Player registration/medical release forms required to be with the coach or team representative Practices Games Team Activities Signed roster at all games Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect lineup cards in player uniform number order - low to high.

  13. Games Uniforms All uniforms must match. Home team is required to wear pinnies if the home team s and opposing team s jerseys are similar in color. (The referee will determine if the colors are similar) No player plays the full game until all players have played three-quarters (3/4) of the game. Lineup Cards MUST be generated from Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect Jersey numbers required Printed jersey number preferred over handwritten lineup card

  14. Awards and Section Tournament Medals for 1st & 2nd place teams in each division Section 11 U10-U14 All Stars Tournament - Santee (SD area) February 19-20, 2022 Western States Tournament March 12-13, 2022 Morgan Hill CA
