Amandas Career as an Accountant + Midwest Bank, CFO, 1999 to 2019 Worked by way up the corporate ladder from teller to Chief Financial Officer. Was only female sitting in the board meetings. Lots of expectations, hours, volunteering, time away from family, perceptions + Deere Employees Credit Union, AVP of Accounting and Finance, 2019 Moved family for this change Wanted less demand and responsibility Very different then community banking Got to pour my leadership into my team of 5
+ Prime Construction Services, Controller, 2020 Started position 3 weeks before the world shut down. Company had plans to grow, which quickly changed. I was overqualified for what they needed. Very different than banking jeans and shirts, compared to suites and heels + A2BHQ, Independent Consultant, 2020 2021 Contract position hours uncertain Fully remote position company was on West coast, hours could be long some days Stepped into the SOX audit world Lots of HR consulting with very large computer company Worked on a risk assessment for Nerd Wallet
+ Immito, LLC, Controller, 2021 - 2022 Another fully remote position Small company about 4 years old Lots of processes and procedures were lacking Introduced to the micro- manager boss, learned to adapt to this Leaving this job this week + Profit Resources, Inc (PRI), Consultant, 2021 - 2023 Dreamt of working for them since engaging the company to review Midwest Bank back in 2017 when I was CFO. Ended up not being what I dreamt it was. Lots and lots of data analysis, building out Excel spreadsheets Reviewing NII and NIE for banks for improvements
+ NextKey Services, LLC, Accounting Consultant, 2022 - Present Another fully remote position Small company, husband and wife duo, myself, one FT staffer and two PT limited hours staffers Over 10 clients bio-medical, solar energy, property management Love to help businesses LevelUp + High Heels & Wisdom, LLC, President & CEO, 2023 - Present Just fully incorporated my own company in July Will continue with primary work for NKS Just added Remote Online Notary services Just launch the High Heels & Wisdom Podcast Hoping to grow and get more speaking enagements
