There is variability in social behavior rather than stability. It is a continuousprocess. , . . Influenced by his family members, his groupmates, the institutions and traditions of his society, and his interests and desires, he buildshis socialbehavior.This is also called social development. . , ,

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN INFANCY :- (CONTINUE ) 7. 1styear-Follow instructionsSincerely 8. 2ndYear Work with adults & participate in family actively 9. 3rdYear- Self Centred Behavior ( it may be changed if he/she joined a play school) 10. 5thYear- Attached with other Children (adjustment, Partnership, exchange etc) [* according to Mr. Herlock. ] 11. Try to change himself according to accepted behaviour as a member of ParticularGroup.
SOCIALIZATION DURING CHILDHOOD 6thYear Adjustment,friendship, Participation in socialActivities,Join school. Change in behaviour, Development of- Liberty, Responsibility & sense of association. Join a Group in school. This group determines his dress sense, types of games & wrong or right ideas. Hurlock- The group develops:- self control, courage, justice, tolerance, sympathy for others &dedication for leader. Crow &Crow- Respect the teachers butnot avoidthe sense of fun. Crow & Crow- Deeply Attached with favourite works, clearly difference in interest b/nboys &girls, e.g.-The boysread biography &The girls playmusic or dance. ElisCrow - Discover new things or ideas andfeel proudtoshare it with friends. Crow & Crow- 6-10 years:Regular development in wanted or unwanted behaviour. They Dosuch the things which has novalid reasons.
SOCIALIZATION DURING ADOLESCENCE Deep attractions foropposite sex. Make overto attract opposite sex. Boys & Girls make their groups for entertainment, tourism, picnic, dance, music& adventure. Some boys & girls do not make groups and expend their time with friend of opposite sex. Extreme dedication for groups- dress code, behaviour, ideas etc. E.g. Hair style, Bikers gang, Mahakal group . . Due to membership of the group some development can be found like- leadership, Enthusiasm, sympathy, Philosophy oflife. Harmony, habits, interests &
SOCIALIZATION DURING ADOLESCENCE (CONTINUE .) Conflict, Disputes, Disagreements with parents, Revolts against parents Control or their idealism. Always worried about future. Success & Failure definitely determines his social development. Worries for- wealth, love, marriage, progress in classroom, family. These factors deeply affect the direction of his or her social development.
