Method This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the aim of describing the methods and ideologies of the results of the google translate related to the news on the Al-Jazeera news page. Sources of data that will be used in this study come from words, phrases or sentences from theoriginalAl-JazeeranewspageandtheresultsoftheGoogleTranslatetranslation. Theresearch dataisintheform ofnewstakenfrom theAl-Jazeerawebpagerelatedtothe news of the closure of the Al-Haram mosque and the Prophet's Mosque for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, the data will be translated into Indonesian using google translate as a translation tool,thesourcelanguagedataandthetargetlanguagewillbeanalyzedbyidentifyingthemethod used by Google Translate in translating the news, then identification and explanation of the ideology of translation can be seen from the quantity of translation method used based on the Newmarkdiagram(1988). 3
