  2. Analysis overview Process:H 2a 4b Using the final state 4b to reconstruct singlet scalar a EventNumber = 10,000 Mass point selection: ??= 12 30 60GeV 2025/3/20 2

  3. H2a4b analysis Complement the kinematics of parton level Try to deal with Njets = 3 , but there are some problems to solve Get the efficiency of last analysis

  4. Signal kinematics H pt corresponds to Z boson pt because they are recoiling off each other. H pt and Z pt are irrelevant to a mass.

  5. Signal kinematics When a has large mass , the distance between 2a is small.Because its pt over mass ratio is small.

  6. Signal kinematics When a has low mass, 2 b from same a cannot be separated.So in the final state,they are more possible to merge into one largeRjet.

  7. Signal kinematics In many cases , b- quarks has low pt(less than 20GeV),especially the subleading b quark

  8. Cases Njets=3 If one largeRjet can match only one jet,use this largeRjet to substitude this jet. 3 jets four-momentum added together and calculate invariant mass m_jjj Set higgs mass window |m_jjj-125GeV| < 10 GeV Use 3 jets to match 4 bquarks. Problem(solve after undergraduate thesis finished) In most cases, 2 jets match 4 bquarks and 1 jet is left.

  9. Get the efficiency of last analysis In the Appendices G:Hypothesis testing neural network Their efficiency = 4jets match 4b number/total selected number Our efficiency = 4jets match 4b number/total n=4 number
