  2. TEXT: Revelation 14:1-20 MEMORY VERSE And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great City, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication (Revelation 14:8)

  3. INTRODUCTION A fall is a move from a higher level to a lower level rapidly and without control. A fall could also mean a collapse . Babylon is also known as Babel in Hebrew language, is one of the cities of an ancient kingdom established by Nimrod ( Gen. 10:1-9) It was the site where the people attempted to build a Tower that would extend to Heaven, Gen. 11:1-9. God confused their language, and they could not complete the tower, as their mission was contrary to God s plan. Thousands of year after this city became the center of all idolatrous worship.

  4. God spoke through prophet Isaiah about the fall of Babylon (Isaiah 21 :9) At last, this ancient city of Babylon fell and great was the fall. We shall be discussing about another Babylon called the End-time Babylon INTRODUCTION CONT D. Both the ancient Babylon and the end-time Babylon had many things in common which also include a great fall. Presently, Babylon represents this sinful world where men, women, boys, girls are engaged in all forms of abominable acts

  5. INTRODUCTION CONTD. They are rebelling against God as old Babylon did, so they are going to reap God s great and final judgement The blood of sinners will run over the earth when God sends His righteous judgment on the earth as wine is squeezed out when farmers tread grapes in a winepress during grapes harvest. The end-time is at hand ,you must not take the word of God for granted.
