ANITI: a flagship project at UT in collaboration with local labs. ANITI chairs: Conducts rigorous scientific research in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving international environment, in accordance with the goals and expectations of their laboratory and relevant supervisory bodies. Will contribute actively to the life of the institute, including collaborations with principal investigators, attending seminars, representing the institute, and propose and animate after-work events and technical focuses Will interact and may collaborate with industrial partners, particularly in the context of demonstrator projects, with partial co-location (required for the execution of projects) for substantive exchanges. Will contribute to scientific dissemination actions and initial and professional training (benefit for education as in EFELIA). All changes On the ANITI website : Associates --> co-chairs . A co-chair shall be involved at least at 20% of his/her research time in the chair project Supporting letter from partners can be attached to the proposal as supplementary material if available In the submission templates: CV of all project contributors, not only the PI PIs : support letter from the lab and the employer for academic people and from the employer for others Submission should mention the agreement of all concerned labs and employers for the involvement of PI and co-Chairs). ANITI Chairs Sizing of a Chair The team should be consistent with the scientific ambition of the Chair in terms of skills and dimension and should stay and manageable as a team Building on ANITI experience, the following guidelines may be taken into account: Permanent staff : 2-4 co-chairs per advanced PI 1-2 co-chair per starting PI Non permanent staff : 2 PhD + one 2-year PD for advanced PI 1 PhD + one 2-year PD for starting PI For collective chairs these numbers can be multiplied by the number of PIs All Chairs can involve industrial collaborations, but it is a requirement for the industrial chair. Industrial Chair. Precision on funding scheme Industrial chair projects will rely on: Academic permanent staff and means this will be part of the academic in kind contribution Partners staff and means this will be part of the partners in kind contribution Specific staff and means (PhDs, PoDs, missions, internships, subcontracting ) these marginal costs must be covered by the partner cash contribution at a minimum level of 66%. The international Attractivity Chair The goal is to attract established or promising researchers Significant presence in Toulouse and an involvement of 50% in the project The salary compensation and associated practical modalities have to be discussed with ANITI Good integration into the scientific policies of the labs will be shown through a letter of support from the targeted laboratory The possibility of visiting professor positions (with lower on-site involvement) is being considered Webinaire du 7 avril Webinaire du 7 avril 24/08/2025
