  8. STUDENT OPINION One of the main reasons that I personally chose to study Applied Science is due to my general love for the subject from GCSE however, with this course the fact that you also do coursework relieves some of the exam stress that you would usually feel from other A Levels. In particular Applied Science had given me the ability to learn various aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics and this holistic approach has been very helpful in preparing me for my further studies at University. Applied Science has helped me to achieve my goal of going to University whilst also providing me with the fascinating knowledge of all of the units that are covered within the course. One of the main things that I enjoyed from the course is the variety of practical's that we do in great depth that provide you with a greater understanding of the applications of science whilst being able to develop skills such as problem solving which can be used in other life experiences Emily, Y13
