NOT to a Jew People were filled with rage and tried to kill Him. This showed their true hearts. But He passed through them and went away.

  12. Jesus goes to Capernaum, taught on the Sabbath in the synagogue Rebuked a demon and delivered a man who was demon possessed IN the synagogue Demons call Him the Holy One of God first People were amazed at Jesus authority in teaching and power over demons/spirits Demon didn t do the man any harm, so they must ve done him harm before He fulfilled Is. 61 News of Him spread

  13. He left the synagogue and went to Peters house where He healed his mother in law He healed all who came to Him Demons called Him, The Son of God but He stopped them from speaking because they knew He was the Christ, and seemed to have to proclaim it: but the timing was not right. He kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea because He knew His purpose: to preach the kingdom of God.

  14. Jesus fulfilled verses 1-2b. How are WE supposed to follow His example? Four friends of the paralytic were relentless in their pursuit to get him in front of Jesus.
