251 18th Street South Vacation of a Portion of Easement for Public Street and Utilities Purposes Subject easement for public street and utilities purposes originally conveyed to the County in a Deed of Easement date August 30, 1973. Subject Ordinance of Vacation was originally approved by the County Board on October 20, 2018, as Ordinance F, one of six Ordinances of Vacation that were approved along with an amendment to Site Plan#90. Ordinances A through E were completed and recorded by the Owner/Applicant. However, because the County s design for the 18th Street Complete Street Improvements (Crystal Dr. to S. Bell St.) project was not yet completed, Ordinance F expired per its terms on October 20, 2023. The County s design for the 18th Street Complete Street Improvements (Crystal Dr. to S. Bell St.) has been furthered, and the Owner/Applicant has requested reenactment of the original Ordinance F.

251 18th Street South Vacation of a Portion of Easement for Public Street and Utilities Purposes Recommendation to the Transportation Commission: Find that the Ordinance of Vacation for a Portion of the Easement for Public Street and Utilities Purposes at the Northeast Corner of 18th Street South and South Bell Street, on the Southeast Portion of Parcel 5, Crystal Square, RPC No. 34-020-251, with Conditions, is substantially in accord with the Comprehensive Plan, including the Master Transportation Plan, of Arlington County, Virginia.
