  16. Lessons Learned ACTIVITY Planting and growing seeds Learn how plants grow from seeds. Learn what plants need to grow. Plant seeds, watering and caring for seeds, and monitoring progress. Predict what will happen. STANDARD STRAND CONCEPT Social Studies ECE Providers need more ideas and appropriate applications to Farm to- for their specific setting for education, including ECE setting type. Most provides working with SNAP- Ed/ regional leads are not on CACFP and have limited experience in buying fresh foods, let along local foods. There is perceived risks and identified benefits in taking the leap to learn about barriers vs building more content INDICATOR D: Shows an understanding of how to care for the indoor and outdoor environment A.
