UMB ILOs Charge to the BPAG What is expected from the BPAG? Recommend and describe what all UMB students are expected to know, do, and care about by program completion for six ILO focus areas for graduate competence. Presentation: ILO for Interprofessional Education Heather Congdon, PharmD, BSPS, CDE, Co-Director Center for Interprofessional Education Presentation: ILO for Global Education Virginia Rowthorn, JD, LLM, Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement Inform a process to assess attainment of the ILOs. Inform a process to evaluate the implementation of the ILOs. Inform a process for closing the loop. 6
Priorities for ILOs Aligns with UMB s mission, core values, and strategic priorities (Continuous Improvement [CI], Compliance); Aligns with professional and institutional accreditors standards (CI, Compliance); Faculty-endorsed and supported; Measurable and attainable; Supports employer preferences/workforce demand; and Sets UMB apart from its competitors. 7

REMINDER APAIR Reporting Schedule - FY 2021 Activity Dates Assessment Period Fiscal Year (July 1 June 30) Current to November 15, 2020 Planning Period (i.e., report on areas of improvement and up to three (3) improvement-based goals with associated metrics (Note: after November 15, goals are locked for future editing) JANUARY 15, 2021 Performance period ends June 30, 2021 December 31, 2021 (6 months after beginning of reporting period) APAIR due 12
REMINDER APAIR Reporting Schedule - FY 2022 Activity Dates Assessment Period Fiscal Year (July 1 June 30) The Planning Phase of the APAIR must be completed for each degree program and externally-accredited certificate program. September 30, 2021 (Note: after September 30, goals are locked for future editing) (The Planning Phase includes all fields through the naming of three (3) goals the unit plans to accomplish before the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2022). IESPA will populate the data with the information that generally remains constant into the next fiscal year s APAIR to facilitate reporting. Performance period ends June 30, 2022 December 31, 2022 (6 months after beginning of reporting period) APAIR due for FY22 13
