How to Learn the signs Learn the symbols, learn the associations Write down the keywords for each sign in your BoS or magical journal You will refer to these words often when interpreting charts for people These words form the framework of the chart Consider what the signs mean to you Signs can have slightly different meanings depending on where they are in the chart, how prominent they are, and where the planets are Interpreting a chart is an art, same as divination
Aries Associations: The Ram or the Warrior Solar Month: 21st March 20th April Aligns with the head and body Ruling Planet: Mars Keywords Pro: fiery, willful, pioneering, energetic, adventurous, enthusiastic, confident, dynamic, quick-witted, inventive Con: selfish, quick-tempered, impulsive, impatient, foolish, dare-devilish, aggressive (sometimes passively so) Challenge of growth and learning
Taurus Associations: The Bull or the Earth Spirit Solar Month: 21st April 21st May Aligns with the throat Ruling Planet: Venus Keywords Pro: patient, reliable, warm-hearted, protective, loving, persistent, determined, placid, secure, predictable, natural Con: jealous, possessive, resentful, inflexible, self-indulgent, greedy (takes stability from material things), predictable Challenge of practicality and productivity
