Company profile TTS (Transportation Technology Systems), LNK Industries. Industry: production of the equipment for transshipment of bulk cargo and large- sized steel structures. Directions for innovation solutions: Sensors; Image processing; Robotics; Automatization algorithms; IT 2
BACKGROUND Modern production methods in the metalworking applies the widespread use of robotic and automatic systems directly in the process of manufacturing parts (welding robotic systems, gas cutting systems, etc.). 3
BACKGROUND After production manipulations - cutting, drilling, milling, etc., all parts undergo quality and accuracy control the acceptance process, in which it is necessary to check the accuracy of linear dimensions and holes. Currently, acceptance is carried out using hand-held measuring instruments and electronic control and measurement devices. 4
PROBLEM: The process is carried out by specialists, involves manual labor: a certain amount of time is spent (it is necessary to measure sequentially many elements of the part and parameters), and human errors are also possible 5
CHALLENGE: A complex that automatically evaluates the compliance of the parameters of manufactured parts / structures with specifications and quality standards, based on a non-contact method 6
