  3. INTRODUCTION This project is a automatic car washing system by using of DELTA PLC .In this project all the stages to clean the car (watering, soaping; brushing; drying) are done in automatic way (AUTOMATION).

  4. *AUTOMATION * The use of various control systems for operating equipment such as machinery, processes in factories, boilers and heat treating ovens, switching on telephone networks, steering and stabilization of ships, aircraft and other applications and vehicles with minimum or reduced human intervention. Some processes have been completely automated.

  5. IMPORTANCE OF AUTOMATION The biggest benefit of automation is that it saves energy and materials and to improve quality, accuracy and precision.Totally it increases the machine efficiency.

  6. APPLICATIONS OF AUTOMATION Building automation Home appliances Home entertainment Lighting Internet of things (IOT) Smart energy Mobile electronics

  7. PLC PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER

  8. PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) It is a controller to control any output or input devices just with the help of programming commands. It is a controller to control any output or input devices just with the help of programming commands.

  9. PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) These systems perform many functions providing a variety of analog and digital input and output interfaces signal processing data conversion and various communication protocols.

  10. PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) This conversions and interfaces based on our requirements. Our requirements will arrange one by one in the form of programming.

  11. PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) .

  12. *TYPES OF PLCS Allen Bradley PLCs (AB) ABB PLCs (Asea Brown Boveri) Siemens PLCs Omron PLCs Mitsubishi PLCs Hitachi PLCs Delta PLCs General Electric (GE) PLCs Honeywell PLCs Modicon PLCs Schneider Electric PLCs Bosch PLCs

  13. DELTA PLC The delta name indicates it is one of the manufacturing company name. This delta PLC is very economical and costless compared with other PLC S,And its output is also very accurate and fast response. .

  14. DELTA PLC Delta PLCs are offered in both nano- and micro-class products. The PLCs high performance and extensive I/O units represent a high- value solution for machine control and industrial automation.

  15. DELTA PLC The main advantage of this delta PLC is communication of PLC with our PC. Communicate this PLC with the help of ethernet or IP address or without addressing mode (using RS 232 cable).

  17. TYPES OF LANGUAGES Ladder diagram (LAD) Sequential Function Charts (SFC) Function Block Diagram (FBD) Structured Text (ST) Instruction List (IL)

  18. *LADDER LANGUAGE o It is simplest programming language compared with all programming languages. o This language is based on our logic gate opearations (AND,OR,NOT,NAND,NOR,EX - OR).

  28. ADVANTAGES o This process helps in saving water. o This car washing system is more efficient and relevant as compared to others. o This system is easy to operate.

  29. ADVANTAGES o In this process we can reclaim the water used for washing. o Pollution free. o Less Area. o Man power requirement is less. o Time requirement is less.

  30. DISADVANTAGES o Its primary cost is very high. o Use of chemical shampoos in this process is very harmful. o Large area required.

  31. APPLICATIONS Car showrooms. Highly population areas. Industries.
