Aviation personnel Aviation personnel must undergo a very comprehensive Aviation training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for assuming responsibility over their assigned duties. 1
What are the different types of Aviation trainings Flight training Aircraft Technicians Air Traffic Controllers Flight attendants Dispatchers Aviation Security Accident investigation CNS Technicians Inspection training (Regulatory Aspect) Fire Fighting and Rescue Airport Operations ANS Aeronautical metrology Aviation Medical Doctors etc, etc . 1
ATO For any ATO to train aviation personnel it must be approved by an authority given regulatory and executive tasks in the field of Civil Aviation The Authority should use a set of standards and requirements for the approval.

What is the purpose of accreditation? The purpose of accreditation is to: Use standards of evaluation to ensure quality training Encourage institutions to improve quality of training Ensure the accountability of training institutions Provide public confidence in training institutions 1
Types of Accreditation Basically there are two major types of accreditation. They are: Institutional accreditation. Specialized or professional accreditation. 1
Accreditation Process . To give accreditation to a training institution certain process must be followed depending on the Complexity of the training. The ATO accreditation process should be an interaction between the ATOs and the regulating entity. 1
