AB 927 (Medina, 2021) CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE BACCALAUREATE DEGREE PROGRAM Signed into law October 6, 2021 Extends BDP pilot program indefinitely Removes limit of pilot program to 15 community college districts Maximum of 30 new programs per year: two application periods per year, maximum of 15 per period Number of BDPs in a community college district are limited to 25% of the number of associate degree programs Associate degree program must be offered in same subject as baccalaureate degree program Cannot duplicate program offered by CSU or UC March 11, 2025 3
