Moderation is keeping the balance without exaggeration & negligence. Be moderate as being the follower of Propeht Muhammad, peace be upon him & follow the straight path.
Worship acts To a journey. The consistency, ease & suitability.
Performing the duties without negligence or exaggeration. Ignoring the worship acts Going to the extreme & burdening oneself. Always praying or fasting & one day totally neglectful. Not praying on time. Praying on time mindfully & doing other chores as well.
Islam is an easy religion with certain rules & conditions but at the same time it gives us the flexibility to fulfil them with the best of our ability or capability when we are sick or travelling.
He must assume the direction with the best way possible. He can wipe over the bandage & do the usual rest of wudu. In this case he may do the Tayammum/dry ablution to avoid inconvenience.
Exaggeration at one point can be a cause of boredom or negligence altogether, that s why it is prohibited. Being away from the mercy of Allah. Can be a cause of imbalance in human relations.
Being moderate does not mean to neglect voluntary acts, we have to do them more often to get the mercy of Allah, the balance & consistency is what required.
Islam provides easiness & flexibility according to the health/travel conditions of a worshipper. Going to the extreme & burdening oneself. Performing the duties without negligence or exaggeration. Shortening of the prayer for a traveller. Skipping the fast of Ramadan during travel but had to keep in some other days. Being moderate & keeping a balance.
Burdening oneself. Being neglectful & irresponsible. Can be a cause of lethargies later on. Away from Allah s bounties. He may shorten the prayers from a certain distance. He may skip the fasting of Ramadan & make it up in the other days. He may do the dry ablution due to the water unavailability or unable to use it.
