We are looking for someone with teaching experience, maybe as a HLTA or unqualified teacher. We will support you through the one year PGCE apprenticeship. You will be based at Barry Primary School with a maximum of 80% teaching commitment. You will be paid as an unqualified teacher for the year. More information about our school and opportunity More information about our school and opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to qualify as a teacher while still receiving a salary. You will be provided with supportive team and the opportunity to receive training from the apprenticeship provider. You will need to have some experience of teaching children as this is an on-the-job training role. The school is in an exciting phase of development. We are currently recruiting a range of new positions to compliment our dedicated staff team. Barry Primary School is a two-form entry town school located just of the Wellingborough Road. It is deceptively large with a separate sports facility including a sports hall, Astro-turf and field. The main school is divided into three buildings with a nursery, upper phase annex and lower phase building. We have invested heavily in many resources including chrome books and ipads, new reading books across the school and every teacher will receive a new laptop in September.

Job Description Job Description At Barry Primary we are looking for a trainee teacher to: Work closely with teams to plan and deliver high quality lessons Deploy support staff effectively Develop excellent teaching to achieve high standards of learning and attainment Build, develop and maintain effective relationships with parents and all members of the school and wider community to enhance the education of all pupils This job description should be read alongside the National Teaching Standards (2011), which apply to all teachers.
