  2. 2 Introduction Participants should be divided into groups by countries which they represent presuming it is an international course. If it is a national course, students should be divided into groups. If possible, regulators, operators and representatives from the industry should be in their own groups. All the groups will participate in addressing this exercise. Siting Considerations and Environmental Impact Assessment

  3. 3 Site Selection Each group compiles a list of potential sites that they think should be used to site first/new nuclear power plant in their country. Each group then apply the screening criteria to select the candidate sites. Siting Considerations and Environmental Impact Assessment
