  1. BBALLB SEM II & BALLB SEM II UNIT IV- LITERATURE AND LAW PLAY- FINAL SOLUTIONS BY- MAHESH DATTANI

  2. TITLE- FINAL SOLUTIONS The Final Solutions deals with the powerful and deeply disturbing theme of communal discord and frenzy. The closure of the play tacitly confronts us with the disconcerting fact that we have yet to arrive at any final solutions to this problem.

  3. Themes and motifs Mob/ chorus: A Trigger for Communal Tensions History: Source of Religious Identities The Role of Memory Protection: Guilt and Atonement

  4. Final Solutions: A political Study The issue of communalist violence and sectarian tension shaped and greatly exacerbated by memories of the Partition conflicts is a crowded and highly contested terrain. Here Dattani cautions against exclusive identity in an increasingly multicultural society and looks for a focus of symbiotic embrace. Dattani s postcolonial play is a moving and creative intervention in strongly perceived cultural and religious differences in India.
