  2. Colossians 3:18 Submit: properly, "under God's arrangement," i.e. submitting to the Lord (His plan). Ephesians 5:22-24 Wives - does the way you submit to your husband present the world a Biblically faithful view of the church submitting to Jesus?

Subordinates - does the way you submit and work for your overseer present the world a Biblically faithful view of believers working for the Lord? But what about if I don t respect the person over me? That s not the question. The question is, do you respect God (v22b)? Overseers - does the way you lead others present the world a Biblically faithful view of how Jesus leads us?

  7. Colossians 3:24 Ephesians 1:11-14 Hebrews 9:15 1 Peter 1:3-5 Are we approaching life with our focus on our reward in heaven? (Matthew 6:19-21) Is that promised inheritance enough for you to obey these commands? It ought to be.
