INTRODUCTION Once upon a time, there lived a king who organised a marriage reception for his son. He sent his servants to call his people attend the programme. When the king came to the reception hall, he saw there was still so much placed to be occupied. He sent his servants to go publicise the ceremony in the commnunities. By the time the king came back again into the hall, he saw people standing outside because the hall was filled. He was very happy and rewarded his servants.
INTRODUCTION CONTD. Retreat is here again! And Jesus our Saviour and Friend is calling us again to come and be blessed. He also commands us to invite our friends too. Retreat time is blessing time.
Jesus was moved with compassion .
Retreat, a time of sweet fellowship with Jesus and his friends. You must participate well in retreat activities, listen to God s word and pray always.
PREPARATION FOR A RETREAT In preparing for this retreat, you need to do the followings things: Pray that God will prepare thy heart to receive His word. Invite your friends and your neighbours for the retreat Make yourself ready and by packing all the things you need in a bag. Get the retreat location at the right time. Have the right attitude of faith and obedience Go with your bible, notebook and all writting materials. Take part actively in all activities and messages. Spend enough time in prayer.
