Graduation Requirements 24 Total Credits Passing scores on the 10th grade FSA Reading and Algebra 1 EOC Minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0
Graduation Requirements 4 English Credits 4 Math Credits Must include Algebra 1 and Geometry 3 Science Credits Must include Biology 3 Social Studies Credits Must include World History, US History, and Government/Economics 1 HOPE Credit (Health/PE) 1 Performing/Practical Arts Credit 8 Elective Credits 1 Virtual Online Course 24 credits total; minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA
Assessment Requirements Students must pass the Algebra 1 EOC. Students must pass the English Language Arts Grade 10 FSA ELA FSA Scale Score of 350 or higher 10th grade is the benchmark year Passing score increases from 8th (337) to 9th (343) to 10th (350)
Concordant Scores Students who don t pass the Algebra 1 EOC can earn a comparative score: 430 PSAT Math 420 SAT Math 16 ACT Math Students who don t pass the 10th grade FSA ELA can earn a concordant score: 480 SAT Evidence Based Reading and Writing Average of 18 ACT English and Reading
Virtual Course Requirement Within the 24 credits required for graduation, students must complete one course online Students must finish the complete course online One semester of a half credit course or Two semesters of a whole credit course One semester of a whole credit course does not meet the online course requirement

Programming We ll be visiting our feeder Middle Schools next week: Burns Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 Dowdell Thursday, December 12th, 2019 Students will be bringing home a programming sheet which they ll use to select classes for next year
Programming Reminders Students will have middle school teachers sign off on their recommendations for academic classes for next year While we consider teacher recommendations, core course placement will be based on FSA/EOC scores.
Programming Reminders Parent Waiver If parents disagree with a teacher recommendation, list the course you would prefer your student take and sign the waiver
Programming Reminders If your student is signing up for an AP course, parents and students should initial and sign the Student Agreement
Programming Reminders Students and parents should sign the bottom of the programming sheet
Programming Reminders Electives are listed on the back of the programming sheet Students should select a total of 7credits worth of electives credit electives are denoted with an asterisk (*) List electives in priority order
Programming Reminders Each numbered line should have either one full credit course or two half credit courses listed If you select a half credit elective, make sure you select another half credit course for the second semester Spanish 1 Basketball Team Sports
Programming Reminders FLVS Accounts If your student already has an FLVS account, make sure they switch their account over to Bloomingdale High School before starting 9th grade. If your student plans to take a high school credit course online over the summer, switch their account to Bloomingdale before starting the course. If your student forgets to switch their physical school on their virtual school account, Bloomingdale will not be able to access their FLVS grades.

Registration Coming from a private school A parent or legal guardian must bring the documents listed below to the registration: Physical examination within the last 12 months Birth Certificate/Social Security Card Immunization records (on Florida Department of Health form) Most recent report card or copy of transcript from the last school 2 proofs of address verification: Homestead Exemption Lease Agreement Property Tax Receipt Current Electric Bill Contract of Purchase of Home Warranty Dead Pick up a registration packet and programming sheet Registration packets and completed programming sheets can be dropped off in the main office or in Guidance
