Moving into S4 All pupils study English and Maths All pupils choose five further subjects, one from each column on the senior option choice form Qualifications available at National 3/4/5 level, National Progression Awards and Skills for Work courses All pupils will also receive two periods of core PE PSE delivered during Term 2 and 3 GME progression G idhlig National 4/5 Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy
Moving into S5 All pupils study five subjects, one from each column Qualifications at National 4/5 and Higher levels, NPA and SFW courses All pupils will receive two periods of core PE, one period of PSE and on period of RME All pupils also select a Senior Activity for two periods Some pupils will have senior wider achievement lessons GME progression G idhlig Higher Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy
Moving into S6 All pupils study four or five subjects, one from each column Opportunity for one column of independent study (the exception being pupils studying 3 Advanced Highers) Qualifications at National 4/5 and Higher levels, NPA and SFW courses All pupils will receive two periods of core PE, one period of PSE and on period of RME All pupils also select a Senior Activity for two periods Access to Tayside Virtual Campus and UHI Perth online courses e.g. AH Computing and AH Spanish Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy

Highland Perthshire Learning Partnership Pitlochry High School, Breadalbane Academy and Perth College UHI, working together in close partnership to develop, share and sustain a dynamic and innovative learning offer in Highland Perthshire. Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy
What is already in place? All S4 HP pupils have the same course choice opportunities provided at the same time BA/PHS PTs collaborate to discuss discrete subject information and progression routes with PHS pupils. Virtual sessions with BA Support staff to discuss course choice options Access to Foundation Apprenticeships in Social Services and Healthcare/Engineering/ Business Skills/Creative and Digital Media/Social Services Children and young People/Scientific Technologies/Financial Services as part of course choice. FA in Social Services and Healthcare is delivered by Perth College at Pitlochry High School every Friday. Annual review of transition processes involving all S4/S5 Highland Perthshire pupils. Former PHS pupil supports this process. Former Pitlochry pupils and DHT Support attend PHS parents event to advise on transition/course choice. Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy
Next steps BA Support staff Mr Davidson and Mrs Glover will attend S3 Pitlochry course choice sessions to give advice on progression routes. Additional transition day in term 1 to focus on direct contact with BA staff (delayed due to Covid/March 2022) Opportunities for BGE HP pupils to share wider curricular opportunities Academy 9 project with S2 in March. Opportunities for increased pupil voice in shaping the HPLP beyond the curriculum senior pupils to attend partnership meetings Annual Careers Event All S3 S6 HP pupils and families invited Perth College Media Course Transition Project Wednesday 2nd February 2022 Breadalbane Academy
