Support & Challenge How does it work? Based on projected grades (PG) v target grades (TG) Data inputted periodically Progress Tutors mentor student Intervention plans put in place for underperforming students from subject areas and Sixth Form Team If a student is identified below target they must attend necessary intervention plan, eg attending after school study sessions. Reformed A - Levels English Literature English Language Biology Chemistry Physics Economics History Business Studies Psychology Sociology Assessment will be mainly by exam AS and A levels will be decoupled this means that AS results will no longer count towards an A level, in the way they do now Universities played a greater role in this for the new qualifications than they did previously.
