Buckner Boulevard Special Purpose District PD 366 Background: PD 366 was established by the Dallas City Council on February 26, 1992 The properties are generally located along both sides of Buckner Boulevard from Heinan Drive and Hoyle Avenue on the north to the T.&N.O. Railroad on the south, and along Lake June Rd between Carbona Drive on the west and Pleasant Drive on the east Approximately 407.945 acres on January 7, 2016, City Plan Commission authorized a public hearing to determine the proper zoning for Planned Development District 366. PD_366 2

Buckner Boulevard Special Purpose District PD 366 Background: The PD is divided into 9 subareas Subarea 1A and 5 must comply to development and use of a Development Plan On May 18, 2016 the City of Dallas hosted a community meeting commencing the research and proposals for improvement to the PD A steering committee was created 8 Meetings were held with the steering committee from August 2016 through April of 2017 PD_366 3

  4. Buckner Boulevard Special Purpose District PD 366 Steering Committee: Vision/goal is to revamp PD366 to be an area to shop, live, walk safely and be proud of. Beautify Streetscape Research the Compatibility of the uses appropriate to the Vision Regulate accordingly to maintain the Character Buckner Corridor showcase Focus area PD_366 4

Subareas and Proposed Changes All Subareas Proposed changes: Auto related uses will require a Specific Use Permit Landscape requirements are to parallel the changes to Article X Accessory Uses tailored to fit the direction of the Planned Development Accessory outside display of merchandise will only be permitted within 5 feet of the structure housing the main use Cell tower for cellular communication will require a Specific Use Permit Redevelopment of sites will require 5 foot minimum sidewalks along Buckner Boulevard PD_366 9
