  3. Two Different Approaches to Improve Performance First, to study errors and fix them A deficit orientation Second, to study how we can be perfect how to achieve excellence An appreciative orientation

  4. Inquiry and Capacity Building Fixing things are the dynamics of a shift from low to average performance There is little capacity for creativity when we focus on avoiding mistakes or repairing something Building capacities to excel and flourish are the dynamics from good to great .

  5. Paradigm Shift Focus not on what you want to void; but on what you want to become.
