  2. O2B: Real life example template Purpose of this document: scaffolding for building ready-to- use real life examples for O2B Responsible person: Dita (dita.dlabolova@mendelu.cz) Target group: anybody preparing real life examples

  3. What is the real life example? The real-life examples are case studies with a story containing an academic integrity issue and its consequences in professional life, accompanied with activities for target audience, and didactic notes. The objective of the example is to show that academic integrity does not finish with the moment of obtaining degree. Academic integrity consists of rules and principles which are everlasting and should be a part of everyday life of any individual.

  4. How to use this document? Use this template to build your real life examples. The different slides will guide you through building the example. Pay attention to explanatory notes under some slides in this template. Add more slides when you need you can use different types of slides, which are ready for you. There is also a set of icons to be used at the end of this presentation. Good tip is to create a duplicate of this file (use the Save as..) and make the edits inside.

  5. Name of the real life example.

Didactic/teachers notes Please provide explanatory notes for teachers if needed (you can keep it here at the beginning, but you can also place this kind of slide in different places in the presentation according to your needs) Please consider that the material might be also used by a teacher who is less skilled

  7. The story Write down the whole story in a separate document (template is provided), so it can understood and used by anybody. This document can be also provided to the audience. In the presentation, state only the most important points Accompany it with images if possible You can write just bullet points instead of whole sentences, etc. This is what will be used when presenting to the audience

  8. Questions for discussions for the target audience Please provide questions for discussion Define the place(s) in the story, when they should be used Multiple sets of questions can be used

  9. Questions for discussions for other possible target audience Use if there is also other audience for your example Define the place(s) in the story, when they should be used

  10. Anchor to the real case If it is possible, please provide an anchor to the real case that you used as an inspiration: For publicly known and documented cases provide links to the news, articles and other references If the case was not publicly known (e.g. it is a story from your friend), please anonymize the anchor

  11. Acknowledgement & references Please provide references to all source which were used Do not forget to provide references to all pictures/other graphics that you used!

Tips Simplify the story and make it rather schematic Omit the not necessary details to make it easily understandable Keep the story grey to support possible discussion Find suitable places to interrupt the story and to start the discussion Do not use real names within the story! Even if it is based on a real story. For English version use English (international) names with simple pronunciation
