  2. ICE BREAKER THREE THINGS IN COMMON When you hear freeze form a group of three with the people closest to you. Now you have 2 minutes to find three things you have in common with each other

  3. WHAT ARE ASPIRATIONS? Discuss in your small groups: What is an aspiration?

  4. ASPIRATIONS Aspirations are our hopes and dreams for the future. They are different from goals in the way that we don t have to map out every single step to achieve them they are more abstract.

  5. WHAT ASPIRATIONS MIGHT PEOPLE HAVE? LONG TERM SHORT TERM Developing a hobby Reading more Learning a new skill Joining a new club Buying your own house Getting the career, you want Living in another country Writing a novel

  6. TASK MY ASPIRATIONS Think back to your role model what do they do/ how do they act? What job would you like to do and why? What hobbies and interests would you like to have (or be even better at)? What kind of person would you like to be?

  7. BEHAVIOURS YOU MIGHT NEED TO USE Ask for help from others. Break their problems down. Think in a flexible way. Work on being stronger each day. Celebrate their own successes. Set any setbacks and temporary. Live in the moment. Embrace change. Show gratitude.

  8. DREAM BUILDERS Help your classmates to think of ideas on how they can start to take a step towards their aspirations.

  9. REFLECTION THINK, PAIR, SHARE Reflect on your learning from the activities you have taken part in. Think of one thing that sticks in your mind from the session pair up and discuss what you have thought of. Then join another pair and share each other s thoughts.
