Propose of Summer Internship Students will gain personal real world insights and exposures to actual working life, an experiential, foundation to their career choices, and the chance to build valuable business networks. Internship Period Internships may be done in approved dates and duration. Internship Place Students may do an internship in approved private/state organizations which satisfy the conditions determined by the Committee Members. Internship Application It is students responsibity to find an internship place. (S2 Form) Internship Information Form will be approved by the Committee members as well as the Organization. Internship Compulsory Attendance Compulsory attendence is required. In cases of critical emergencies approved by the Committee Members, students who will not attend their internships are to compensate the remaining internship days.
Required Documents S1 Form: Conformity Form for Internship Place S2 Form: Internship Information Form S3 Form: Letter of Undertaking for Internship S4 Form: Internship Evaluation Form S5 Form: Organization Internship Obligation Letter Internship Report Extra Documents
a) S1 Form: Conformity Form for Internship Place Students will fill and obtain this form from Student Office. This form will be used for examining conformity of Internship Place.
b) S2 Form: Internship Information Form This form includes Student s Identity, Internship Informations etc. Students first will fill the form(3 copy), second have Internship Place approved and later bring these 2 copies to the Student Office and 1 copy to the Committee Members(later will be approved by them).
c) S3 Form: Letter of Undertaking for Internship Students will fill this form and later bring it to the Committee Members. This form shows students to obey compulsory attendance and to renounce their internship and pay all pecuniary loss with legal default interest which will be incurred at Faculty -in case of any change in start-end dates of internship.
d) S4 Form: Internship Evaluation Form This form is a document which shows evaluation of Students Works during their internship by Organization s Internship Manager. It is also required to be filled and submitted closed and sealed envelope to student who will later bring it to the Committee Members. within a
e) S5 Form: Organization Internship Obligation Letter Students will obtain this form from the Committee Members and bring it to Internship Place.
f) Internship Report: Students will fill this report each internship day and have Organization s Manager signed each page. Internship g) Extra Documents: Committee Members may ask further informative documents in necessary situations.
GENERAL RULES Before starting their internship, Students are to hand over S1 Form (Conformity Form for Internship Place), S2 Form (Internship Information Form) and S3 Form (Letter of Undertaking for Internship) to the related unit. Students will write up their Internship report and have signed related part of the report. Internships may be done overseas. Each internship requires seperate internship report. Internship report is to be written in English. Internship Evaluation Form submitted within a closed and sealed envelope by Organization Internship Manager and Internship Report is to be handed over to the Committee members in 20 days by the beginning of the following semester. Internship Reports which is not handed in due time will not be evaluated by the Department.
GENERAL RULES Students can not provide information to others in matters requiring confidentiality regarding production and service. During the internship, a contract can be signed between the student and the workplace in accordance with the applicable legislation, including internship conditions, leave, duties and responsibilities of the parties, fees payable and other necessary matters. Universities can not be shown in conflicts between the workplace and the student. The department can make necessary monitoring for the execution of the internship in accordance with its purpose and rules, or communicate with the workplace where the internship is made and obtain information about the internship student. Assessment of the documents related to the internship is made by the Department members. Students who do not perform their internship or who do not complete their internship successfully will not receive a certificate of graduation.
