Burton Rugby Club Kids First Program
Welcome to the Burton Rugby Club Kids First program, aimed at U7-U13 boys and girls. This program focuses on putting children first, maintaining rugby as a game for all shapes and sizes, increasing enjoyment and involvement, and retaining players in the game. The rules are designed to support children's development with a building block approach, ensuring a player-centered and development-driven game. Coaches are encouraged to create a free-flowing and continuous game to enhance player involvement and decision-making. The program's pledge emphasizes putting children at the heart of all decisions, promoting fun on the pitch, developing confidence and character, and championing rugby's core values. Access a series of skills videos led by England head coach Eddie Jones for coaching inspiration and age-specific courses for various age groups.
